Find A Place to Stay, Eat & Do

Along the coast of Somerset, Devon, Cornwall and Dorset there are lots of places to stay, eat and drink and take place in exciting coastal activities and cultural experiences as part of your South West Coast Path experience.

All the businesses listed on our place finder support our work to care for the Path as Way Makers and love welcoming walkers using the Trail - with many of them offering single night stays. You can even pick up a stamp for your Coast Path Passport at many of them.

Whether you want to pitch your tent for a night, find a cosy B&B or hotel, make a base to explore from, stop off for lunch or a pint, kayak along the coast, or find your next Coast Path Passport Stamping Point, just click the blue button and it will take you to our place finder.  Type in the location you're looking for  - all our Way Maker businesses are within 5 miles of the Path and many right on the Trail - select the filters and find what you're looking for!

If you are planning a multi-day trip walking the Path, don't forget to pick up a copy of our  Official Guide to the South West Coast Path which comes free when you sign up to be a SWCPA member.

* Please note, Way Makers listed are not inspected or graded by the SWCPA

If you want to camp, there are plenty of official campsites close to the Coast Path.  There is no right to wild camp beside the Path unless you ask the landowner before pitching (sorry, we can’t help you find out who that is!).
