The South West Coast Path is such a special asset, which means different things to all who love and use the Path, with the uniting thread; the Path facilitates journeys. Particularly providing for those who fundraise, as the varied character of each section of the 630-mile trail inspires their challenge, their art creation, their walk, and so many other types of activities.

We have been so lucky to be part of some incredible journeys on the Path and to work alongside other amazing charities.

  • Tom Keys-Toyer (pictured on left below) raised an incredible £54,448.68 for Bristol-based charity Boys in Mind and donated 10% to the SWCPA.  He ran the entire 630 miles of the SWCP in one month- a marathon a day.

  • Emily-Jane (pictured in middle below) a retained firefighter, hiked the path solo, raising over £3700 and splitting it between SWCPA, The Fire Fighter’s Charity and The Veteran’s Foundation.

  • Tom Morton (pictured on right below) ran the Cornish section of the SWCP, creating a film of his experience and raising money split between the SWCPA and the Two Bays Trust in Port Quin
