One of the benefits of doing a walk along the Coast Path is that you can enjoy a scrumptious Devon or Cornwall cream tea or piece of Dorset apple cake afterwards without feeling guilty.

If you want something more substantial, choose a café that serves local produce - that way you’ll be supporting the farmers and fishermen who help keep the coastal landscape so special, while tasting the freshest produce available. 

To find a short walk, with map and directions that includes a café or tea shop along the way, just expand the navigation menu on the right. Alternatively to search within a smaller area, use the Walk Finder tool (the magnifying glass at the top of the page) and tick the Café box.

What we can’t help you with is to decide whether its best to put the jam on your scone before the clotted cream or afterwards – that needs further research.
