Partners

At the South West Coast Path Association we are fortunate to work with a number of brilliant partners who help us deliver our charitable objectives to protect and champion the trail, so that it can in turn support the mental and physical wellbeing of people now and in the future.

Corporate Supporters

We take great pride in building long-lasting, mutually beneficial partnerships with organisations that share our commitment to the unique coastal environment of the South West, as well as our belief in the fundamental benefits of being active outdoors.

From members of the tourism industry, which relies so heavily on the Coast Path to attract visitors to the region, to outdoor equipment and trail running event companies that regularly operate on the trail, we have a proven track record of working with a range of organisations in a variety of ways to make significant impacts for both business and charity.

If your business would like to support our work to care for this much-loved 630-mile National Trail please contact our Impact Fundraiser Will Keen on [email protected] to discuss opportunities, she will be delighted to hear from you. Meet our current corporate supporters here.

Other partners

We are also supported by, and work with, fellow organisations in the conservation and outdoor sectors.

One of the organisations with which we collaborate most closely is The National Trust. The Trust owns a quarter of the land that the Coast Path travels through, and the Association raises funds for improvement and access projects on it. Together, we are working to protect and enhance the South West Coast Path, so that current and future generations can benefit from this beautiful coastal landscape.

It costs at least £1,500 to maintain just 1 mile of Coast Path and an additional £2,000 for the National Trust to take care of the countryside that surrounds it. With funding in significant decline from Natural England, our joint fundraising efforts have become increasingly important for the future maintenance of the Coast Path.

Other organisations with whom we work in partnership include: Living Coasts, The Outdoor Guide, Active Devon, The South West Tourism Alliance, The English Riveria Bid Company, Mount Edgecombe National Park and more.
