Coast Path Connectors North Devon

Hi, I’m Huw, and I engage with the North Devon community. Supporting and encouraging people to get out and connect with nature is a wonderful vocation as the benefits for individuals can be immediate. I am especially interested in those that have barriers to participating and looking forward to working with more community groups and individuals in future.

Community organisations we work with:

The below video introduces you to Huw (Community Engagement - North Devon) and volunteer Nick, as they walk with a regular open group of walkers. Anyone is welcome to join this walking group which is made up of people who had been referred by health professionals, members of our bereavement walking group Healing Steps as well other members of the public.

Join a local walk

Fortnightly North Devon Wellbeing Walks - usually around 3 miles. Meeting at 10am.

Next walk dates: every second and fourth Tuesday of the month

This site is updated on a monthly basis, keep an eye out for further walk opportunities.

Accessibility

Each walk has been planned to be appropriate for the walking group and participants’ needs. We will always let participants know where the nearest toilets are, the terrain, steepness, steps on route, and distance. We aim to make our walks as accessible as we can. Please do get in contact if you need further information before the walk, to check that it is suitable for your individual needs.

Pre-Walk Information

Take a look at our pre-walk and guidance information sheet which covers questions that you have about what to wear and what to expect on our walks, here.
