The 1^st of December brought the great news that the 30^th project in the South West Coast Path Association’s Coastal Communities Fund (CCF) portfolio had been completed.

The South West Coast Path is fast becoming known as a vital link between South West businesses, particularly those in the tourism sector and the coastal towns and villages through which it travels. 

The prestigious annual South West Coast Path Photographic Competition is once again calling for entries from budding landscape photographers for the chance to be featured in the 2017 official calendar among a host of other great prizes.

The results of tests undertaken over the summer using tougher new European standards to assess the quality of bathing watersin the South West have been published by the Office of National Statistics revealing a pass rate of 97.94%.

The fourth annual Top Dog Walk competition has been launched in Your Dog Magazine alongside a feature on the latest winning walk from Pastow to Harlyn Bay.

On Saturday 31st October, the last leg of the South West Coast Path Challenge took place on the Dorset coast 
with 110 people taking part to pledge their support for the Coast Path.

The South West Coast Path Challenge got off to a flying start in Cornwall on Saturday 10^th October as more than 40 people took part in the 10-mile walk on the Lizard between Gunwalloe and Lizard Point.
