The last leg of the South West Coast Path Challenge comes to the Dorset coast on Saturday 29^th October, along the final stretch of the South West Coast Path national trail.

A group of 12 people stepped out with Alex Polizzi of TV’s Hotel Inspector yesterday for a ten mile walk around the tip of the Roseland peninsula on the south Cornwall coast.

Businesses in the South West are pledging their support for the South West Coast Path Association, including well known hoteliers Alex & Olga Polizzi, by taking part in the charity’s flagship fundraising event to help raise vital funds.

Malcolm Bell, Visit Cornwall’s Chief Executive, is passionate about the South West Coast Path. For the 2016 challenge event he has pledged to walk just under 30 ‘Malcolm’s Miles’ in three days on 5^th, 6^th & 9^th October.

A group of around 50 people took part in a charity stomp on Saturday, walking the first 10 miles of the South West Coast Path from Minehead to Porlock on Exmoor, as part of a month-long series of events to raise funds to help protect this National Trail.
