Walk - Tresmorn & St Gennys
6.2 miles (10.0 km)
Crackington Haven car park - EX23 0JG Crackington Haven car park
Challenging - Coastal path, inland paths that may be wet or muddy, tracks, lanes and quiet roads. There is a lot of ascent and descent, much of it steep.
A strenuous but rewarding walk along one of the quietest stretches of the Coast Path, along high cliffs towering over rocky reefs that have been responsible for many a shipwreck. There are tremendous coastal views over rolling pastureland and out to sea as you return inland through a settlement dating back to Saxon times and on past St Gennys Churchtown, said to have grown up around the site of a hermitage established by the Irish saint who gave his name to Guinness!
