Walk - Burgundy Chapel
3.2 miles (5.1 km)
Quay West Car Park, Minehead - TA24 5UN Quay West Car Park, Minehead
Moderate - Paths, tracks, woodland footpaths, some ascent and descent, including one very steep path. Don't be tempted to reverse the route: downhill this path is a nightmare!
Through the woods to a ruined medieval chapel, this is an adventurous walk for the intrepid walker, featuring a narrow stony path climbing steeply beyond the chapel. Not for the faint-hearted - but older children will love it, and will be fascinated by the ancient ruins.
