Walk - Surfin’ Safari
6.2 miles (10.0 km)
Newquay Station - TR7 2NG Newquay Station
Moderate - Surfaced roads, lanes, tracks and paths plus a few lengths of grassy path. One steep climb (on a road section), otherwise nothing more than very gentle gradients.
This walk circles round the western end of Newquay, never more than a short distance from the town. Despite this, it provides the experience of glorious beaches, atmospheric headlands, a sandy estuary and a picturesque wooded river valley.
This walk is particularly good for dogs as it passes beaches and pubs where dogs are welcome.
Have a look at our Top Dog Walks on the South West Coast Path for more dog friendly beaches and pubs.
