Route Description

A pleasant walk through farmland to the coast at Putsborough.

  1. It begins by following a public footpath across grassy pastures and around the edge of a cropped field.
  2. There are several gates on this section, one of which has one step.

After an easy stroll along tarmaced lanes, follow the path across another grass field before it starts to slope downhill through gorse bushes.

  1. A welcome bench will be found beyond a large wooden gate, from which panoramic views of the coastline from Putsborough to Woolacombe and beyond can be enjoyed before the return journey to Georgeham.

Parking

There is a car park in Georgeham, but you will then have to get to the start of the route which will involve some steep gradients on the village lanes.
