A moderately long walk on mostly flat ground, looping to the west of the River Otter, to the pretty thatched village of East Budleigh. This was Elizabethan explorer Sir Walter Raleigh's early stamping ground, and there is an optional extension to the walk which visits his birthplace and the woods where he used to play.
