An invigorating walk along a chalk ridge with spectacular views over the coast and countryside, especially good for older children who are up to the distance. The area is rich in history, right through from the earliest prehistoric times, as well as being of geological importance and having an abundance of wildlife, not forgetting the Tower That Moved. Allow time to browse around the Purbeck Marine Wildlife Reserve, down on the bay, and to stroll through the picturesque thatched village of Kimmeridge.
This is a dog-friendly walk. Have a look at our Top Dog Walks on the South West Coast Path for more dog-friendly beaches and pubs.
