Walk - Praa Sands HP - Pengersick Walk
3.7 miles (6.0 km)
Praa Sands Holiday Park - TR20 9TB Praa Sands Holiday Park
Easy - The walk is mostly on footpaths through farmland and around the coast, and in places these are narrow and can be muddy; but the rest of the route is on quiet country lanes and tracks, with some gentle uphill walking and a certain amount of fairly steep descent.
Travelling inland towards Germoe, with its church dating back in parts to the 12th century and an ancient holy well, this walk inland also gives a glimpse of the Tudor tower of the romantic Pengersick Castle, reputed to be the country's most haunted building. Returning via Hoe Point, drop down onto the beach at Praa Sands to check out the famous fine-grained Elvan Dyke at the foot of the cliffs.
