A new series about the South West Coast Path starts tonight on BBC 1 at 7.30pm. Initially it will only be shown in the South West region, but there are plans to broadcast it nationally in November on BBC 2  in November - but if you can't wait until then we expect it to be on iplayer.

The broadcast schedule is:

24^th August:  Episode 1 – Minehead – Hartland Point (Somerset and N Devon)

31^st August: Episode 2 – Marsland – Sennen Cove (North Cornwall)

7^th Sept: Episode 3 – Porthcurno – Kingsand/Cawsand (South Cornwall)

14^th Sept: Episode 4 – Plymouth – Orcombe Point (South Devon)

21^st Sept: Episode 5 – Ladram Bay to South Haven Point (Jurassic Coast)
