Zoe Kibbey
Trustee
Originally from Dorset and now living in Teignmouth, the South West Coast Path has become a significant part of my life over the past few years. What began as a recreational activity has evolved into an essential component of my health and well-being. I have now completed over three-quarters of the path and aim to finish it this year, with aspirations to eventually walk it in reverse.
Professionally, I work in Inclusion and Diversity for a global tech company. My experiences along the Coast Path, observing the diverse range of users and noting those who are absent, drove me to apply my skills in a new context. This inspired me to become a Trustee with the South West Coast Path Association, where I hope to make the path more inclusive and welcoming for everyone.
As a new member of the Board of Trustees, I am continually inspired by the dedication of my fellow Trustees, the core SWCPA team, and our passionate volunteers. My background in I&D, human resources, and technology equips me with a unique perspective that I hope to bring to our discussions and decision-making processes, enhancing our collective efforts to conserve and promote the path.
I am a firm believer in the power of volunteering to forge connections, learn new skills, and make a tangible impact in the community. To me, supporting the Coast Path is about ensuring it remains a cherished resource for future generations.
