Kevin Thomas

I joined the Board of the SWCPA in 2022 as a co-opted Trustee. Since being co-opted as a Trustee I have joined the Finance & HR Committee. 

I live and work in Chelmsford, Essex as a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser and am a lifelong visitor to the South West with a deep interest in the coast, the environment and wildlife. I completed the path in 2019 and am now completing the reverse path. 

Notwithstanding I still work fulltime, I have a flexible job allowing me to devote time and effort to the Association. I am an experienced company director and charity trustee with a sound understanding of business finances and commercial aspects. I have first-hand insight and understanding of financial, governance and strategic planning issues as affect the charitable sector.  

My other interests include swimming, cycling, running and golf. I am also actively involved within City of London Livery companies.
