The walk begins on the crisp seafront before heading inland past Dawlish Warren Nature Reserve and the Exe Estuary, both boasting stunning views of quaint boats and a wealth of wildlife.

The route not only offers a scenic seaside backdrop but also long stretches of green countryside on either side of the Estuary. Along the way, you will pass the village of Starcross and the incredible landmark which is Powderham Castle before following the winding River Exe up to the busting town of Exeter.

The group will be stopping off at the end for a pit stop at the pub to rehydrate and recuperate before catching the train back to the hotel (tickets are £4.20 for adults, and not included in the entry fee).
