Thanks to funds raised by the South West Coast Path Association and from the Unlocking our Coastal Heritage project, this project enabled a new route to be opened up taking the South West Coast Path closer to the coast in front of the Perranporth YHA Youth Hostel.
On Thursday 26th September the South West Coast Path International Friendship Trail was opened at Maple Cross Nature Reserve, Cape Chin in Canada.

Last week was a landmark occasion with the celebratory opening of 6x route change improvements to the South West Coast Path along the 35 mile Exmoor section.
