Our Projects - Morte Point path edging

This 100 metre stretch of South West Cost Path is on the north side of Morte Point going down a steep slope. The original path was very rocky in places and walkers had taken a number of short cuts to avoid the path causing erosion problems. Thanks to funds raised by the South West Coast Path Association and from the Unlocking our Coastal Heritage project, the path has been rock drilled off in places and edges dug off to provide a more defined path and resurfaced with shillet.
