Our Projects - Bennetts Mouth

A 380 metre stretch of the South West Coast Path to the east of Bull Point with steep slopes either side descending to Bennett’s Mouth, is prone to severe gullying down the centre. This creates an awkward surface to walk on. Thanks to funds raised by the South West Coast Path Association and from the Unlocking our Coastal Heritage project, the path has been widened slightly, digging off the uneven surface at the sides and then resurfaced with shillet over its entire length. The gutters have been reinstated.
