Our Projects - Golden Cap signage

The National Trust have upgraded and renewed fingerposts and way markers across the whole estate encouraging walkers to come and explore the landscape. Routes suitable for horse riders, cyclists and mobility wheelchairs will also be clearly signed giving users the opportunity to explore the rights of way network with confidence and safety. The paths linking to the South West Coast Path have all been clearly marked and circular routes from the National Trust car parks marked. In total 50 new fingerposts have been made and installed across the estate. The old interpretation panels at the main visitor access points of Stonebarrow Car Park and Langdon Hill Car Park have been replaced and the panel giving historical information at St Gabriels renewed. This involved the planning and manufacture of 7 new large interpretation panels. Three smaller panels have been produced to welcome visitors at other access points were previously there was nothing. These new panels have gone up adjacent to the SWCP on both sides of Seatown and west of Eype.
