Our Projects - Carvannel and Western Hill Steps, Portreath

The Association has donated 200 steps boards to enable the National Trust to replace two long worn-out flights at Carvannel and West Hill near Portreath. The new steps are made of locally sourced oak, and so should be long lasting. Being wider than the existing steps, and having a 6 inch rise will also make the steps easier to use.
