The walker's shelter on Wall's Hill in Torquay has become run down in recent years. To make it more attractive, Wellswood & Torwood Community Partnership are planning to refurbishing it with new robust concrete and steel benches, whilst students from South Devon College will be giving it a coat of paint. The Association have offered to help by funding one of the new benches.
On Thursday 26th September the South West Coast Path International Friendship Trail was opened at Maple Cross Nature Reserve, Cape Chin in Canada.

Last week was a landmark occasion with the celebratory opening of 6x route change improvements to the South West Coast Path along the 35 mile Exmoor section.
