Our Projects - Chynalls Cliff footbridge
A flash flood in July 2017 eroded the banks of a small stream and undermined the bridge used by Coast Path walkers at Chynalls Cliff just south of Coverack. To make it safe and hopefully safeguard it against future floods the Association paid for the materials to enable the National Trust to quickly get in and construct a new longer and higher bridge.
Below: The old bridge (which although looks OK was unsupported at the far end) and it's replacement.
