Our Projects - Wembury Beach Access Path

The Association is funding the materials to enable the National Trust to improve the path between Wembury Beach and the village through the meadow, which is currently very uneven and braided. To remedy this, the plan is to level off the path, widen in areas and remove the stones which are now sticking up into the path, as well as replace the existing gateway with a slightly wider oak gate and rails. This would mean easier walking along this path and also the potential for pushchairs to easily negotiate the path, which is nicer and safer than walking down the narrow road to the beach.
