The Association has funded new oak gates to enable the National Trust to replace 5 kissing gates on the Coast Path between Wembury Beach and the river Yealm. Some of the old kissing gates had narrow frames making them a squeeze to get through with a rucksack, whilst the new gates are self-closing and so much easier to use.
On Thursday 26th September the South West Coast Path International Friendship Trail was opened at Maple Cross Nature Reserve, Cape Chin in Canada.

Last week was a landmark occasion with the celebratory opening of 6x route change improvements to the South West Coast Path along the 35 mile Exmoor section.
