At Trevellas Porth near St Agnes, the existing steps had washed out and were difficult to use. Thanks to the generosity of Pat Fry in memory of her late husband David and thd their happy memories of walking the Path, the Association were able to fund the construction of new flight of oak steps to make this steep slope easier to walk up and down.

On Thursday 26th September the South West Coast Path International Friendship Trail was opened at Maple Cross Nature Reserve, Cape Chin in Canada.

Last week was a landmark occasion with the celebratory opening of 6x route change improvements to the South West Coast Path along the 35 mile Exmoor section.
