Lantic Beach is a popular and beautiful destination for walkers on the SWCP in south east Cornwall, The path down to the beach had become eroded and difficult for people to walk. Association fundraising and a grant from the SMB Charitable Trust helped fund the cutting of additional steps, install drainage and widen the path to give fewer slippery sections and easier step rises.
On Thursday 26th September the South West Coast Path International Friendship Trail was opened at Maple Cross Nature Reserve, Cape Chin in Canada.

Last week was a landmark occasion with the celebratory opening of 6x route change improvements to the South West Coast Path along the 35 mile Exmoor section.
