Near to Lamorna a stream appears across the path after wet weather and this is very awkward to cross. Although a difficult site to access, with our help to fund the work, Cormac are confident that they will be able to construct a c. 4 metre long footbridge across the stream. At the same time, they will be installing new steps and drainage on a nearby steep section.

On Thursday 26th September the South West Coast Path International Friendship Trail was opened at Maple Cross Nature Reserve, Cape Chin in Canada.

Last week was a landmark occasion with the celebratory opening of 6x route change improvements to the South West Coast Path along the 35 mile Exmoor section.
