Our Projects - Ferrybridge west - surfacing and drainage improvements

The Coast Path approaching Ferrybridge, near Weymouth from the west used to get very muddy in the winter due to the heavy clay soils. The Association raised £16,000 to enable Dorset Countryside to improve this through a major project to undertake over a 700 metre section surfacing, drainage improvements, vegetation clearance and construct willow revetments.
