Our Projects - Daymer Bay-beach steps

Storm damage in 2014 had destroyed the steps which provided beach access for the South West Coast Path, in a very popular spot. Between the original site survey and the work starting, conditions had deteriorated further, with sand levels rising, and the costs for installing the new steps increased slightly from that tendered.

This work funded by the Coastal Communities Fund grant achieved by the South West Coast Path Association will secure the access to the beach and path for many years.
