Our Projects - Winnianton - Coast Path relocated to avoid cliff erosion

Landslips in early 2014 meant that this section of Coast Path had got dangerously close to the cliff edge and so had been moved onto an adjacent farm track, which being used most days by cattle got very muddy.  To improve this, using funding secured by the South West Coast Path Association from the Coastal Communities Fund, in early 2015 the National Trust were able to relocate the farm track further inland and separate it from the Coast Path with a new fence. This work should safeguard this section of the Coast Path for many years.
