Welcombe is a remote section of the South West Coast Path on the North Devon and Cornwall border with fantastic views out onto the Atlantic Ocean. Thanks to funds raised by the South West Coast Path Association and from the Unlocking our Coastal Heritage project, the aim of the project was to revet sections of leader path alongside river/stream, to level and surface the Path and to replace or repair the boardwalks.
On Thursday 26th September the South West Coast Path International Friendship Trail was opened at Maple Cross Nature Reserve, Cape Chin in Canada.

Last week was a landmark occasion with the celebratory opening of 6x route change improvements to the South West Coast Path along the 35 mile Exmoor section.
