Thanks to funds raised by the South West Coast Path Association and from the Unlocking our Coastal Heritage project, the project at Portledge replaced an old flight of steps with new ones, surfaced a section with 20 tonne of stone and cut back the vegetation. This section is now up to the standard it should be and will last some considerable time.
On Thursday 26th September the South West Coast Path International Friendship Trail was opened at Maple Cross Nature Reserve, Cape Chin in Canada.

Last week was a landmark occasion with the celebratory opening of 6x route change improvements to the South West Coast Path along the 35 mile Exmoor section.
