Our Projects - Starehole to Bolt Head

Thanks to funds raised by the South West Coast Path Association and from the Unlocking our Coastal Heritage project, this project was able to improve the South West Coast Path between Starehole Bay and Bolt Head. This section of the path was narrow and heavily rutted, resulting in an uneven and difficult surface on which to walk. The improvements involved re-grading a 500m section of the path with drainage improvements and where necessary widening the path and making improvements to prevent future erosion.
