Our Projects - Sea Acres path improvements

Sea Acres Holiday Park near Poltesco on the Lizard in Cornwall has the South West Coast Path running directly through it. They were concerned that as guests and particularly families with small children left Sea Acres Holiday Park there were some uneven steps and they felt that the path was a potential trip hazard and close to a sheer cliff. Following consultation with Cornwall Council (as the Highway Authority) and the National Trust (as the adjacent landowner) it was agreed that the National Trust would install a gate and even up the steps on the NT side of the gate. This work has been completed making a much safer exit on the SWCP from the more urban nature of the park to the open and wilder stretch of the NT owned section of the SWCP.
