Our Projects - Trevega Cliff

Trevega is half way along the very popular section of the South West Coast Path used by visitors from St Ives to Zennor. The route leading westwards into the River Cove valley was originally (pre-1987) improved by adding a flight of wooden steps to combat the erosion on this steep slope and to make the route safer for visitors. The National Trust has replaced the original steps to prevent further erosion, ensuring that the rise is no greater than 8 inches on each step.
