Our Projects - Treyarnon Bay
The Coast Path leading into the South West side of Treyarnon Beach has, over the last few years, experienced ongoing storm water erosion which has in turn created gulleys and an uneven walking surface. Where the natural path meets an old flight of concrete steps, there was a shelving bed of slate which was awkward to negotiate and slippery when wet. The state of the Path meant that it was accessible with care for the more abled walker, but made life difficult for the less abled and especially those with disability. The work programme has included levelling the South West Coast Path and placing a short flight of low level steps and a small number of grips to deflect the storm water.
