Our Projects - Sharrow Point 1
This section of path links the South West Coast Path and the car park at Sharrow to the popular beach below. This is a very popular area for walkers and beach goers from Plymouth. The path runs down a gradient in a small valley so collects water. The path was becoming quite eroded and the drainage not working as well as it could. Thanks to funds raised by the South West Coast Path Association and from the Unlocking our Coastal Heritage project, this project has been completed to provide easier and safer access to the beach and adds further value to the RDPE projects CP42 and GSWW 418. Approximately 100 metres of path leading from the SWCP to the beach at Sharrow Point has been widened, re-graded and resurfaced.
