The informal National Trust car park at Lansallos between Fowey and Polperro has been upgraded by resurfacing the all-weather area and providing edging to define the perimeter. Thanks to funds raised by the South West Coast Path Association and from the Unlocking our Coastal Heritage project, additional way-marking from the car park to the South West Coast Path has been installed and a renewed and improved orientation-welcome panel provided.
On Thursday 26th September the South West Coast Path International Friendship Trail was opened at Maple Cross Nature Reserve, Cape Chin in Canada.

Last week was a landmark occasion with the celebratory opening of 6x route change improvements to the South West Coast Path along the 35 mile Exmoor section.
