Our Projects - Coombe car park, Fowey

Coombe car park to the west of Fowey is a small National Trust informal car park which provides access to the South West Coast Path at Polridmouth and for circular walks on the South West Coast Path around Gribben Head and to Polkerris. This is very popular walking country and this car park is widely used by locals from Fowey and also by visitors to the area. Thanks to funds raised by the South West Coast Path Association and from the Unlocking our Coastal Heritage project, this project has extended the car park by stripping away a grassed area and installing hard core with a top dressing stone surface. The perimeter of the car park has been defined with edging materials.
