Our Projects - Carnewas

Thanks to funds raised by the South West Coast Path Association and from the Unlocking our Coastal Heritage project, repairs and improvements have been made to damaged slate pitched steps on the pathway to Bedruthan Steps viewpoint and beach staircase. Approximately 12 to 15 eroded step fronts have been replaced with solid oak. Timbers pinned in position and stone pitching required and reinstated behind. Oak Way marking posts on the coast path had been made and installed to aid orientation and give information about local facilities.
