Thanks to funds raised by the South West Coast Path Association and from the Unlocking our Coastal Heritage project, the successful aim of the project was to remove all the existing fences and redundant furniture, to realign the fence between the path and the cliff top in such a way as to minimise the visual intrusion of the fence. Timber fence materials are all to be English Chestnut.
On Thursday 26th September the South West Coast Path International Friendship Trail was opened at Maple Cross Nature Reserve, Cape Chin in Canada.

Last week was a landmark occasion with the celebratory opening of 6x route change improvements to the South West Coast Path along the 35 mile Exmoor section.
