Welcombe is a remote section of the South West Coast Path on the North Devon and Cornwall border with fantastic views out onto the Atlantic Ocean. Thanks to funds raised by the South West Coast Path Association and from the Unlocking our Coastal Heritage project, the project has created an alternative flood water path for the SWCP, surfaced the track and car park, completed new steps and surfaced a new path with stone and a waymark.
On Thursday 26th September the South West Coast Path International Friendship Trail was opened at Maple Cross Nature Reserve, Cape Chin in Canada.

Last week was a landmark occasion with the celebratory opening of 6x route change improvements to the South West Coast Path along the 35 mile Exmoor section.
