Our Projects - Marazion grass

This joint pioneering trial project to reinstate natural habitat adjacent to the South West Coast Path was between the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) unit & South West Coast Path Association with the support and assistance of the St. Aubyn Estates. Thanks to funds raised by the South West Coast Path Association and from the Unlocking our Coastal Heritage project, the project ws able to reinstate some of this natural habitat to restore appearance and importantly to pioneer this process as a demonstration that may lead in the future to such an approach being more widely applied around Mount’s Bay’s extensive sea defences that lay alongside the course of the SWCP for some kilometres.
