Thanks to funds raised by the South West Coast Path Association and from the Unlocking our Coastal Heritage project, the project was able to repair and resurface two link paths which connect countryside car parks around Mawnan Smith with the South West Coast Path and also to repair and resurface areas at Toll Point. The surfaces of these paths had been badly eroded and rutted and were causing access issues, especially in the winter.
On Thursday 26th September the South West Coast Path International Friendship Trail was opened at Maple Cross Nature Reserve, Cape Chin in Canada.

Last week was a landmark occasion with the celebratory opening of 6x route change improvements to the South West Coast Path along the 35 mile Exmoor section.
