Our Projects - Hilly Mouth

As the coast path leaves the tarmac road above Lee it rises up a muddy slope which was gradually getting wider due to erosion. Thanks to funds raised by the South West Coast Path Association and from the Unlocking our Coastal Heritage project, the project has defined the route of the path and resurfaced it with shillet making the surface easier and drier to walk on. Over a short rocky section the rock has been levelled to created a more even surface.
