Our Projects - Carn Galver Car Park

The car park at Carn Galver is the main parking area between Zennor and Pendeen for access to the South West Coast Path and the moors above. The surface has deteriorated over the years and the tarmac apron leading into the car park was becoming impassable. Thanks to funds raised by the South West Coast Path Association and from the Unlocking our Coastal Heritage project, the project was able to extend the tarmac aprons to give a level entry/exit point and resurface the car park and two overflow lay-bys with granite scalping to improve visitor access. This has provided improved parking and access for visitors, and a slightly extended parking area to accommodate half a dozen more car spaces.
