Thanks to funds raised by the South West Coast Path Association and from the Unlocking our Coastal Heritage project, this Porthallack to Trebah Drainage project has focussed on one very small section of the coast path, which regularly floods making passage very difficult. The work involved in this project comprised of two main aspects: digging drainage channels and raising the level of the footpath.
On Thursday 26th September the South West Coast Path International Friendship Trail was opened at Maple Cross Nature Reserve, Cape Chin in Canada.

Last week was a landmark occasion with the celebratory opening of 6x route change improvements to the South West Coast Path along the 35 mile Exmoor section.
